Ammonia Recipe
2. Don’t use this recipe on pearls. Place eight oz. of ammonia in a bowl and add a drop of dish soap. Then add 1/3 cup of water and stir. Place the jewelry in the bowl for 10 minutes. Use a toothbrush on dirt or food once the jewelry has had time to soak. Remove the jewelry and rinse under running water. Make sure you have the sink stopped up so that the jewelry doesn’t accidentally get washed down the pipes.
